If you have travelled through Windsor, Sarnia, Wallaceburg or Chatham recently you may have noticed billboards with Bible verses on them and wondered about them. Of course it is likely that you are reading this because you wanted to learn more about them and decided to visit heaven4sure.com. We thought it would be appropriate to share a little more about the Bible Billboards that you have seen.
The Bible is a message from God for mankind. It tells us that we are sinful as far as God is concerned and that left to ourselves we have no way of getting to heaven when we die. In short the Bible makes it clear that we are disqualified to enter heaven because of our sin.
No only that but there is no alternative but the judgment of God for those who die as sinners. In the book of Hebrews, chapter 9 and verse 27 we are told, “Just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment.”
Thankfully the Bible also contains good news. It tells us that God hates sin. But it also tells us that God loves sinners. In order for you and I to become qualified for heaven we must have our sins removed. The Bible tells us that God sent His Son into the world to die for sinners. The book of Romans, chapter 5 and verse 8 says, “God shows His love for us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
The people who have sponsored these billboards are Christians. That means that they are people who have trusted the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation and enjoy the peace of knowing that they will be in heaven when life is over. Quite simply we want everyone else to enjoy what we enjoy – the forgiveness of sins and eternal life in Christ!
